Before bed, Keira always seems to get thirsty, but each time is reminded that if she drinks a lot, it could potentially lead to an accident overnight. Even though she hasn't had an accident in months, mommy's saying is, "Yes, you can have a drink, but just one sip. Just one sip." Well, the other night, it was nearing her bedtime and she noticed her daddy had a drink and was not playing by the bedtime "rules." "HEY! How 'come daddy gets all the sips?!?!"
I don't really remember where it started or why but now KJ likes to play this little game (often while sitting on the potty after a few rounds of "I spy") where we talk about various characters and if she met them, would she talk to them or high five them or hug them, etc. Sad, I know. Take the kid to Disney already... Anyhow, she will say, "Ask me who I would hug, Mommy." So, I say, "If you saw Mickey or Buzzlightyear..." You get the idea. Well, she's really been thinking things through. One time I asked if she would hug the aliens from Toy Story and she looked at me and said, "Well, they're really little and short. I guess I could squat down to hug them." Another day we talked about Nemo and she astutely said, "He doesn't have any arms, but I could hug him by his flappy things."
She's also been playing around with different accents, mostly trying to be "fancy" like Fancy Nancy. I can't do it justice on a blog, but it is really funny to see and hear her act. She gets it honest.
Hopefully I'll post again soon. She said something hilarious at the table the other morning, but of course, I didn't write it down right then, and now it is escaping me. I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached, somedays.
